In equipment with rotating axles, the axle is generally supported by bearings to rotate, and bearings are installed in the bearing box. The various forces that the axle is subjected to when working will also be transmitted to the bearing box, which bears the load of the bearing box.

1. Whether the dimension of bearing box conforms to the standard or not and the change of clearance between bearing box and rolling mill rack will directly affect the stability and accuracy control ability of rolling mill.

If the clearance between the bearing box of backup roll and the mill archway is too large, the backup roll and the work roll will cross contact.
If the distance between the axis of backup roll and the upper and lower support surfaces is not the same, it will lead to the deviation of work roll gap, which will lead to the product quality problems such as dimension deviation, process defects, unqualified plate shape and over-standard convexity value.
2. Equipment failure caused by dimension accuracy of bearing box itself.
The poor coaxiality of the bearing hole between the backup roll and the bearing box will lead to the cross of the rollers. The axes of the upper support roll, the upper work roll, the lower work roll and the lower support roll are no longer parallel and there is an angular relationship. The light cross of the rollers will affect the surface quality of the product, and the heavy rollers may break.
If the verticality and parallelism of the top surface of the bearing box are too bad, then the transfer of pressure and pressing force is not acting on the center of the top surface and the bearing hole, which affects the transfer of pressure and rolling force, accelerates the wear of fragile parts and destroys the accuracy of the rolling mill itself.
