Bearing selection is a compulsory task for motor designers. Proper selection of bearings can effectively guarantee motor performance, otherwise it can only grow in constant failure. Well-known bearing manufacturers will work hard on the introduction of bearings to help bearing users customize the most suitable bearings. Ms. refers to the bearing samples from different manufacturers, each of which has its own merits. Now, the content information of bearing selection through static load capacity is basically summarized and shared with you.
When to Select Bearings by Rating Load
In some cases, the bearing size should be selected by rated static load (for convenience of description, code C0) instead of calculating the bearing life.
Under the action of continuous or intermittent impact load, the bearing is stationary.
Under the action of load, bearings only move slowly to and fro or adjust.
Under the action of load, the bearing's speed is very low (less than 10 revolutions per minute) and only needs a very short life. In particular, in this case, for a given equivalent load P, the required basic rated dynamic load C will be very low according to the life formula, so the selected bearings may be seriously overloaded in practical work.
In addition to the normal working load, it also bears a heavy impact load, bearing is rotating.
In all these cases, the load bearing can bear is not determined by the fatigue of the material, but by the degree of permanent deformation caused by the load on the raceway.
Loads acting on stationary or slow reciprocating bearings and impact loads acting on rotating bearings may cause parts of the rolling body to be flattened and indentated on the raceway. The indentation may be irregularly distributed on the raceway, or it may be evenly distributed corresponding to the distance between the rollers. If the load acts on the bearing, when the bearing rotates to a certain number of rings, the deformation will evenly distribute on the whole raceway and cause the permanent deformation of the bearing, which may lead to adverse consequences such as vibration and noise of the bearing, increase the clearance of the bearing, or affect the coordination with the shaft or bearing chamber.
