Germany intends not to exclude any 5G company

      German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Tuesday that Germany does not intend to exclude any company from 5G mobile spectrum auctions, but hopes that bidders in mobile spectrum auctions will meet certain requirements.
"The government has said that our approach is not simply to exclude a company or a participant, but to require 5G technology from competitors participating in the auction." Merkel said at a conference in Berlin.
She added that the European approach would be desirable.
