The European Commission said on Friday that after the British Parliament's third veto of the EU withdrawal agreement reached between British Prime Minister Teresa May and the European Union, Britain "may" withdraw without an agreement on April 12.
"The European Commission regrets today's veto by the British House of Commons." A spokesman said. He added that the European Union had asked London to inform it of its next action by April 12. "Britain will indicate the way forward by that date."
"The non-agreement withdrawal of 12 April is now a possible scenario. The EU... Is now fully prepared for the "no agreement withdrawal" situation at midnight on April 12.
