British finance to attend China's Forum

      The finance ministry said the chancellor of the exchequer Hammond (Xia Wenda, Philip Hammond) plans to attend China's "one belt and one way" Summit on international cooperation later this month.
Hammond attended the first "one belt and one road" forum in 2017.
Italy signed a cooperation agreement with China last month to become the first Western power to support this initiative. Switzerland also said on Tuesday that President Maurer would sign an agreement to support the "one belt" along the way to China this month.
Britain hopes to strengthen its relations with China. Britain hopes to become a major trading country in the world after its withdrawal from Europe.
The Treasury Department said Hammond would also discuss bilateral economic and financial cooperation between Britain and China.
But his visit depends on the parliamentary agenda, and parliamentarians are still trying to find a breakthrough in the British withdrawal negotiations. Parliament may face more critical votes in the coming weeks.
