British Prime Minister Johnson made a tough move

      With the encouragement of President Trump, British Prime Minister Johnson set a new date for the resumption of parliamentary meetings, which is the boldest action he has taken since he promised to lead Britain's withdrawal from Europe on October 31, whether or not an agreement was reached.
The Queen's speech will be officially held on October 14, before which the British House of Commons will adjourn temporarily, which means that Parliament will not meet between mid-September and mid-October.
The move limits the time for opposition MPs to take action to stop Britain's disorderly withdrawal from Europe, but also increases the likelihood that Johnson will face a vote of no confidence in his government, or even an election. Queen Elizabeth has approved Johnson's plan.

The Queen acted on the Prime Minister's advice. Her office declined to comment. Her speech at the opening of Parliament was written by the government, outlining the government's legislative plan.
"Members of Parliament will have plenty of time to debate the European Union, Britain's withdrawal from Europe and all other issues, and plenty of time," Johnson told reporters.
