The British Prime Minister's office said the prime minister urged French President Ma long to "push" the British agreement to return to Europe. He told Ma Kelong that the EU should not be tempted to erroneously believe that Britain will remain in the EU after October 31st.
On Sunday, Johnson discussed his retreat proposal with Ma Long and Portuguese Prime Minister Costa, who received a cold reception in Brussels.
"This is an opportunity to reach an agreement: an agreement supported by parliamentarians, an agreement involving compromise between all parties," a senior British government source said Sunday.
"Britain has made a major proposal, but now it is time for the Executive Board to show a willingness to compromise. Otherwise Britain will withdraw from Europe without agreement."
In October 31st, the deadline for Euro withdrawal is getting closer. He has said that he will not ask the European Union to allow Britain to postpone its return to Europe again. But when asked about a bill that forced him to ask for a postponement of his withdrawal from Europe, he said he would not violate it. The bill stipulates that if a euro withdrawal agreement can not be reached by October 19th, it must be asked to postpone the withdrawal of Europe.
