The world bank plans to cut global economic growth again

      World Bank President Marcus said the world bank may cut its global economic growth forecast again due to the uncertainty of declining trade and investment flows, but he did not call on the United States and China to resolve trade disputes.
"When we look at today's data, we may consider further reductions in economic growth expectations based on our revised estimates in June," Mr. Malpas told reporters at the start of the annual meetings of the world bank and the International Monetary Fund.
In June this year, the world bank cut its forecast for global economic growth in 2019 by 0.3 percentage points to 2.6%, roughly the same growth rate as in 2016.
The latest forecast released by the International Monetary Fund on Tuesday showed that global economic growth slowed to the slowest since the 2008-2009 financial crisis, mainly due to trade conflicts.
