Brazil's Ministry of Health said three new suspected cases were added in Brazil on the same day, excluding five. Currently, there are 11 suspected cases in Brazil, but no confirmed cases.
These suspected cases are currently distributed in four Brazilian states, including one in Santa Catalina and one in Rio de Janeiro, four in Sao Paulo and five in Rio Grande do Sul.
Brazil's Ministry of Health said 21 suspected cases have been excluded since the first case. Many of the excluded suspected patients were actually infected with the flu virus. Of the 21 suspected patients excluded, 7 were positive for influenza B and 3 were positive for influenza A.
