Microsoft publishing revenue in the third quarter

      Due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, its windows (Windows) and personal computing businesses are expected to fail to achieve quarterly revenue targets. This brought its share price down more than 1% in after hours trading.
Microsoft said the rest of its forecast for the third quarter remained unchanged.
"While we see strong demand for windows in line with our expectations, the pace of supply chain recovery is slower than expected," the company said in a statement
The new coronavirus has shut down or slowed down a wide range of sectors of China's economy.
Microsoft is the second trillion dollar club to take back its financial forecast. Earlier this month Apple said it may not be able to meet its march quarterly revenue forecast.
Microsoft previously estimated revenue for its more personal computing division in the third quarter at $10.75-11.15 billion. The Department includes the windows system business.
Microsoft said in a statement that the company's windows and surface computers suffered more negative effects than expected.
