The European Central Bank will discuss a "soon" new round of bank lending: Praet

      Its chief economist, Peter Platt, said Wednesday that the ECB would "soon" discuss whether to provide banks with a new round of multi-year loans, but may not immediately decide its terms.
"The Council will be discussing soon. That doesn't mean we're going to make a decision... At the time, "Praet talked about a new target long-term refinancing operation (TLTRO).
"I think clarity in banking is (important)... but not necessarily a parameter of TLTRO, because it's complicated."
He added that the TLTRO before the ECB, which was due to expire next year, was "very generous".
