If Britain wants to postpone its withdrawal from Europe

      A senior EU official said Wednesday that if Britain has any plans to postpone its withdrawal from Europe, Prime Minister Teresa May must notify the other 27 EU members by Thursday at the latest.
The official, who asked for anonymity, said he had not received a request from London to postpone his withdrawal from Europe.
The leaders of the 28 member states of the European Union will meet on Thursday afternoon before Teresa May will leave. The remaining 27 leaders will continue to discuss the next steps to withdraw in her absence.
