The Conservative government will accept the so-called "soft" exit package chosen by Parliament, Britain's Secretary of State for Separation from Europe said Wednesday. Previously, Prime Minister Teresa May's agreement to withdraw from Europe failed to win parliamentary support.
"In my opinion, there is only one option that you can't swallow right now, which is to choose between non-withdrawal or so-called soft withdrawal," Barkley said when asked in Parliament where to go in the future.
"Ultimately, if it is voted for by parliament, the government will accept the choice of Parliament in order to solve this problem on the basis of national interests," he said.
