China's stock market is showing a bottom

      Chen Yulu, deputy governor of the People's Bank of China, said recently that China's stock market is showing signs of bottoming out and recovery, and that the potential for foreign securities investment inflows is rising, given the increasing inclusion of renminbi-denominated assets in international indices.
Over the weekend, Xinhua quoted his written statement to the 39th Ministerial Meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC), the IMF's policy-making body, as pointing out that foreign securities investment inflows reached a record $120 billion last year as international institutional investors diversify their portfolio investments and China further opens its bond and stock markets.
The Shanghai Composite Index, an important indicator of China's stock market, closed at 3,188.63 points on Friday, up nearly 30% this year. MSCI Mingsheng, a global index provider, recently said it would postpone the conversion of the MSCI All China Index to the MSCI All China Stock Index until November 26, which was scheduled to be implemented on June 1.
