Roller modification has many advantages
Compared with non-repaired rollers, the design advantages of repaired rollers are obvious. Logarithmic modification is adopted on the radial outer surface of the modified roller, which can significantly improve the risk response ability of excessive contact stress at the end of the bearing's working life at the later stage under high load. Under conventional application conditions, the time of occurrence of edge contact stress caused by abrasive wear is greatly delayed. Compared with the non-repaired roller, the stress decreases by at least 20% when the edge contact stress occurs. The service life of bearings can be extended by up to 15%. The enhancement of wear resistance enhances the reliability and availability of the equipment, and ultimately benefits customers.

Bearings with new rollers can be used in various kinds of rollers, such as crushers and rollers in Mine cement industry. These are high loads and harsh application environments, and there is a risk of pollutants entering the bearing during operation and maintenance, such as bearing replacement. X-life quality and optional seals
New bearings with end-modified rollers retain all the X-life characteristics of the old bearings, including optimized internal structure (which helps to improve load-carrying capacity), improved surface quality and floating mid-range edges that effectively reduce friction. In addition, the new bearing can still be equipped with seals that do not affect the design size.
