The United States says the attack on Saudi Arabia came from Iran.

Three unnamed officials told Reuters that the use of cruise missiles and drones showed that the attack was more complex than originally thought.

The officials did not provide evidence or explain what U.S. intelligence they used in their assessment. If these U.S. intelligence can be shared openly, it may increase pressure on the United States, Saudi Arabia and other countries to respond, or even take military action.
Iran denied involvement in the attack. Iran's allies in Yemen's civil war, Hussein Army, claimed responsibility for the attack. Hussein said they attacked the factories with drones, some of which were driven by jet engines.
U.S. President Trump said Monday that Iran appeared to be behind the attack. There has been a long period of friction between Iran and neighbouring Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia, which tried to appease markets after Saturday's attacks, said Tuesday it would resume full production by the end of the month.
Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, ruled out negotiations with the United States Tuesday unless the Trump administration returned to the nuclear agreement signed between Iran and the West. The United States withdrew from the agreement last year.
"Officials at any level in Iran will never talk to U.S. officials... this is part of their policy of pressure on Iran," Iranian state television quoted Khamenei as saying.
