British Prime Minister Johnson called on lawmakers to approve the brexit agreeme

      British Prime Minister Gordon Johnson on Monday called on lawmakers to approve his exit agreement bill this week, saying he, the European Union and the public do not want to postpone the exit.
With just over a week to go before Britain leaves Europe, Johnson is eager to get his agreement through Parliament. Congress has set a number of hurdles that prevent Johnson from passing an agreement by the October 31 deadline to prevent a non agreement exit.
Now Johnson is seeking to pass legislation to implement the agreement in Parliament as soon as possible after the speaker of the house of Commons on Monday refused to vote directly on the agreement itself.
It has been more than three years since Britain decided to leave Europe by referendum in 2016. However, the future of Britain's exit is still full of uncertainty. The divided country and Parliament are still debating when, how and even whether it should leave Europe.
Before his "withrawal agreement bill" entered the first stage of voting, Johnson made a final appeal to lawmakers, saying that he had finalized a new agreement to allow the UK to continue its work on issues such as public health services, education and the cost of living.
