Britain says there is no need to extend central bank president Carney

      Sajid Javid, the chancellor of the exchequer, said in an interview that the ruling conservative party did not think it was necessary to extend the term of the Bank of England's president, Carney.
Jia told Bloomberg in an interview that if the Conservatives win the December 12 parliamentary election, they will appoint a new central bank president "very, very quickly.".
Reuters reported last month that the British government will not appoint Mr Carney's successor before the election.
Carney will leave on January 31, the latest deadline for brexit.
