China's pig production will continue to improve

He also said that, based on data analysis from all aspects, it is estimated that the annual increase in poultry meat production potential will be more than 3 million tons, milk production will be more than 1.6 million tons, eggs production will be more than 800000 tons, and beef and mutton production will be more than 300000 tons. In general, the overall increase in production of poultry meat, eggs, cattle and sheep products, and the increase in production of poultry meat are more, which can alleviate the situation of tight pork supply to a certain extent.
"The supply of livestock products is guaranteed in our judgment." Yang Zhenhai said.
China's consumer price index (CPI) rose 3.8% year on year in October, far higher than 3.3% of the median forecast in the Reuters survey, the highest since January 2012 (4.5% at that time); among them, pork prices rose 101.3%, affecting CPI growth of about 2.43 percentage points.
According to Yang Zhenhai, for the first time in China, the decline in the number of sows that can be bred has rebounded, and the decline in the number of sows has further narrowed. Compared with August and September, the decline of pig stocks in October was 0.6%, 9.2% and 2.4% respectively.
